Stress!

So first things first we decided to use the floral skirt with the curtains.

Before deciding how to change the skirt we practically just shoved the curtain round the mannequin and it turned out really well, we liked the asymmetric front with the fold at the top which gave structure and we thought the back looked really nice aswell. So that was easy.

But typically the problem started when it came to THAT skirt. First we thought of making it shorter and giving it volume to create an a-line shape but decided against that. So we tried pleats we tried gathering it, folding and pinning but NOTHING was working, it just didn't look right. Cinderella is a word that springs to mind.
